21 Day Focus to a Better Leader, Teacher, Community Member

Several years ago, DeWitt Public Schools made a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion--working to make our district more inclusive and prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of a global society. In addition, the DeWitt Community Partnership will lead the DeWitt community in valuing and celebrating diversity and disrupting patterns of oppression to promote social equity and has the goal to develop and inspire global citizens through the celebration of diversity. The partnership encourages staff, secondary students, parents, and community members to join us in a 21 Day Equity Challenge.  Over the last couple of years, I have participated in a few 21 Day Equity Challenges. While some of the topics are a bit difficult to explore, I have always appreciated the opportunity to learn more, reflect, and become empowered to do more, be better, and do better.
